SMS Integration

Communicate with patients via integrated SMS to send appointment reminders, updates, and health tips. The integration supports automated messages, custom templates, and delivery tracking.

The SMS integration itself is free of charge. However, the clinic must connect with an SMS service provider such as Etisalat in the UAE or SMS Misr in Egypt. Once the clinic purchases an SMS package, we receive the provider’s APIs and connect them to Balsam Medico.

View Purchased Packages

Navigate to the Admin area and open the SMS section. To view your SMS package, click on Purchased Packages.
The data is pulled directly from the SMS provider’s API and displayed in Balsam Medico. This allows you to track your package without leaving the system, keeping all the information in one place.

View Automated Messages

Navigate to the Admin area and open the Automated Messages page under the SMS section. You will find pre-set messages prepared for you.
If you’d like to make changes, contact our Customer Success team with the updates or details you want to include. Once the changes are made, toggle the switch next to the message to enable it.

How to Send an Automated Message

When an automated message is enabled—such as the "Appointment Created" notification—the system automatically sends it to the patient once their appointment has been created.
