Roles

Developers will have the following roles (badges):

  • Developer
  • Architect
  • UI Developer
  • DB Designer

New developers will not work on all aspects of the project. Certain parts are permitted to certain roles. 

If a developer want to work on one of the restricted areas, they should do the changes, and open a MR. The MR will be approved by a developer with that role. Once approved, then it will be merged. 

These MRs will act as an indicator that a developer is able to work on these parts. After enough meaningful MRs, then the developer will be given a new badge.
