Use cases for the Assignments feature:

Example 1: No-Show Recovery

When a patient misses an appointment, the system can automatically generate a recovery task.

Example Workflow

Trigger: Appointment status updated to “No show” status 

Condition:  Appointment Status - In List = No-Show

Action: Create assignment: “Call patient to reschedule” with Trigger Time as the due date and have this assignment saved in the patient's assignment list 

Example 2: Reminder for Patient CBCT

When patients need a CBCT scan follow-ups, you can create an assignment. 

Example Workflow

Open a list under a specific space and click on the Add New Assignment button. 

Title: Reminder for patient CBCT 

Assignee: Radiology coordinator or front desk staff

Due Date: 2 days from today

Link a patient: Jane Doe 

Status: CBCT Required / CBCT Taken / No Response 

Optional: You can create an automation rule. 

Trigger: 24 hours before CBCT appointment

Action: Create assignment
